Our Vision
To forge a society where neurodivergent adults in the San Antonio area feel connected, supported, and valued — through inclusive programs, strong peer communities, and environments that nurture mental health and overall well-being.
Our Mission
To empower neurodivergent adults to overcome social isolation by promoting awareness, independence, respect, and inclusion. We connect individuals through peer support, inclusive community events, and educational opportunities that foster belonging and personal growth.
Our Objectives
"Think of the S.P.I.C.E.!"
Support the well-being of fellow ND individuals through peer support groups and social and volunteer experiences.
Promote awareness, independence, positive mindsets, respect, and inclusion for ND individuals in a safe and comfortable environment.
Involve all great minds in our community to share ideas to create opportunities and foster a sense of belonging.
Connect with other like-minded people and organizations through special and social events.
Educate ND people through social skills training, career skills, and exchanging information about resources, services, and advice.
Non-Discrimination Policy:
Neurospicy SA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, marital status, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law. This applies to all programs, services, volunteer opportunities, employment, board membership, and facility access.
We are committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming environment for all neurodivergent adults and their allies. We strive to create sensory-friendly spaces.
Neurospicy SA welcomes individuals of all neurotypes, backgrounds, and identities to support our mission. However, many of our events are designed specifically for neurodivergent adults.
***We do not require papers or proof of neurodivergence to attend events, and we still welcome adults who haven't gotten a formal diagnosis but think they are neurospicy.***

Founder & Future Executive Director
Meredith Marks founded Neurospicy SA orginally as a Meetup group for young adults on the Autism Spectrum in early December of 2024. Later, she broadened the group of the Adult Socials and created other programs, and is working diligently to establish connections and establish Neurospicy SA as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Meredith has Autism, OCD, and Bipolar Disorder I, and seeks to help others with similar mental conditions find a community where they belong.
